The Red Bridge youth ministry is focused on helping teenagers (7th - 12th grade) grow in their faith. Youth leaders work with parents to plan activities that will help them grow and mature in their faith, and that provide them with a platform to establish valuable relationships with peers of like faith.
There are various activities that are planned for the youth including Sunday School, SWAT (Servants With A Testimony), Youth After Glows, Friday Night Volleyball, and AWANA. Special events are also planned throughout the year including Hayrides, Special Fellowships (e.g. Clue Night), and special ministry projects (e.g. assisting at Harvesters food pantry).
SWAT (Servants With A Testimony) has regularly scheduled ministry projects for the youth. The SWAT team recently helped an elderly church member with various household projects including raking, hedge trimming, gutter cleaning, window washing, and other jobs around the house.
The youth meet every Sunday morning for praise, worship, Bible study, and fellowship. Every month the youth get together on Sunday night for a Youth Afterglow, and during the summer the youth meet every Friday for Youth volleyball. When summer is over, AWANA starts up on Wednesday nights where youth attend AWANA Trek (for 7th-8th grade) and Journey (for 9th - 12th grade).
Youth are also encouraged to participate in various ministries of the church. Our youth are instrumental in VBS (Vacation Bible School), Judgement House, AWANA (Leadership training), and Sunday School (teachers assistants). The youth have organized their own Praise and Worship team which leads music in Sunday School and AWANA.
